Mr. Calabrese joined Calabrese & Associates, LLC in 2020.  Mr. Calabrese has had a long and varied career as an attorney, judge, elected official and public servant. Just prior to joining Calabrese & Associates, LLC, Mr. Calabrese was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Ohio.  Prior to this position, Mr. Calabrese served as a magistrate in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas - Probate Division.  Before this position, Mr. Calabrese was elected and served as a judge in both the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas and the Eighth District Court of Appeals.  Prior to holding office as a judge, Mr. Calabrese spent over 25 years in the private practice of law, concentrating on general litigation and business law.

Mr. Calabrese began his career of public service when he served as a State Representative in the Ohio Legislature for the eastern region of Cuyahoga County.  After serving as State Representative, Mr. Calabrese was appointed by then-Mayor Carl Stokes as one of the original members of the Cleveland Cuyahoga County Port Authority.

Mr. Calabrese is a graduate of Benedictine High School, John Carroll University and the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.

He is licensed to practice in the State of Ohio, the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
